Halifax Pride Festival

A drop in game night (video games and board games available!) that takes place at Power House in Halifax. For 2SLGTBQIA+ youth ages 12-25.

We're kicking off pride with a bootblacking night and extended shop hours! Come hang out, talk leather, and get your boots shined in time for all of the festivities from community bootblacks. While you're at it, you can get in on our annual pride sale - 20% all toys and 25% off pride gear

Join us for Pride Shabbat! All ages are welcome, as well as allies. There will be light refreshments. Masks are required indoors, and there is an outdoor eating area.

Join the Venus Envy staff for a goofy show that will teach you creative ways to problem solve and answer your sex position questions. This event is free to attend, but we will be collecting donations for local mutual aid from those who can contribute.

The song: Pink Pony Club is a metaphor for a safe space where you feel free to be exactly who you are and we feel this is a perfect way to describe Night Spa. This unique event is aimed at our queer members and welcomes allies too. Night Spa is Halifax's only mixed gender, private members, clothing optional Spa. There's a hot tub, sauna, showers, and many shared spaces. Space will be limited for these nights. Members and their guests can rent a locker for this evening but we will not be renting out rooms. So come play some games and have a nice relaxing time socializing with other members of the community. 19+ We've noticed that the first parties on Saturdays bring out a lot of new members and first times, so we thought we'd lean into that! Every Saturday from 8pm-10pm, we will be hosting meet and greets where regulars and new folks can meet, mingle, and play some fun ice breaker games - and who knows where those new connections will lead later in the night. Spa members and their guests are welcome to attend 3 parties this night starting at 8pm and ending at 3am. These 3 parties overlap so you'll get to meet most everyone whether you come to one or all parties! It's a pricing thing for those whom don't want to pay for the whole night. Come early/leave early, come late/leave late or stay for the whole thing, it's your choice! Night Spa is now in it's 4th year of operations and opened after the previous bathhouse at that same location went out of business. Our new more inclusive and safety focused policies have brought new life and community back into this once loved space. Night Spa is not for everyone, and we're not trying to be, we are a queer focused clothing optional social club. We want people to do well in our space and our application process helps us to know if we would be a good fit for you. As a private, members only venue, only approved Night Spa members and their guests may attend. This is both for safety and legal purposes. Our vetting process is not a formality and generally takes 2-5 days for us to reply. We take this process seriously so let us know who you are and why you wish to become a member. Come meet your new best friend/creative collaborator/co-conspirator/soulmate/lover/unrequited crush at the Mask4Mask Pride Social! 🌈 This event is to help build connections and community between people who continue to mask in public spaces, and take steps to prevent the spread of COVID. We’ll have some light facilitation & conversational prompts throughout the night to keep things flowing, with lots of room for fostering organic connections. For this event: please mask with an KN95 mask or better (free masks available at the event), rapid test the day of the event if possible, and stay home if feeling sick.
