Halifax Pride Festival

In anticipation of the annual Pride March July 20, join us on the Garrison Grounds at 12pm to create signs that showcase Queer resistance and resilience, so you can show support for the causes you want to champion. Limited poster supplies will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own as well.

RRANS, The Youth Project, Diverse Roots Therapy, and Queer Trans Therapy are happy to partner to provide a trans-run and -organized two-spirit, transgender and gender non-comforming ID Clinic located in Punamu’kwati’jk (Dartmouth) Has it been awhile since you've wanted to change your name and/or gender marker, and you need help? This Trans and Non-Binary ID Clinic is here for you! Forms on the spot, commissioner of oaths services, personalized support, and printing, all in the same place, at the same time. Join Halifax Pride and the Elderberries for this elder hangout. This closed-space hangout is a chance for Nova Scotia’s 50+ 2SLGBTQIA+ community to connect with one another, sharing memories, experiences, and friendship. 

This party has a long title and it's gonna be a great night! This evening is aimed at first time visitors to Night Spa and those whom may be trying to make new friends or connections. You must be a Night Spa member or the guest of a member in order to attend. Expect some get to know you games, name tags and community focused fun! Night Spa is Halifax's only mixed gender, private members, clothing optional Spa. There's a hot tub, sauna, showers, and many shared spaces. Space will be limited for these nights. Members and their guests can rent a locker for this evening but we will not be renting out rooms. So come play some games and have a nice relaxing time socializing with other members of the community. 19+ We host 3 of these nights a year, one during Halifax Pride Fest, and during our Fall Fest and Winter Fest. They generally bring in 15-25 people we socialize, play an ice breaker or two and then allow folks to mingle and explore the space together. Night Spa opened in Fall 2022 after the previous bathhouse at this location went out of business. Our new more inclusive and safety focused policies have brought new life into an outdated business concept. Night Spa is not for everyone, and we're not trying to be, we are a queer focused clothing optional social club. We want people to do well in our space and our application process helps us to know if we would be a good fit for you. As a private, members only venue, only approved Night Spa members and their guests may attend. This is both for safety and legal purposes. Our vetting process is not a formality and generally takes 2-5 days for us to reply. We take this process seriously so let us know who you are and why you wish to become a member. Join Halifax Pride for the annual Pride March, where words of action and protest will be spoken by community members as we march to Peace & Friendship Park for a candlelight vigil. 

Following the Pride March, join us for a candlelight vigil at Peace & Friendship Park as we commemorate and mourn community, friends, and found family who we have lost. Good Dear Good will play music in tribute to lost community members.
