Family Swim

Come make a splash with Halifax Pride’s Family Swim at Dal! This all ages family swim is meant to provide some aquatic fun for you and all your Queer friends and family. Pre registration is encouraged.

*Children 12 years and under MUST be supervised by an adult (18+ years) at all times in all areas of the facility. Children aged 7 years and under MUST remain within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian (18+ years) at a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children. Children 7 years and under are not permitted in the deep end without a properly fitted PFD. Children 7 years and under who wish to swim in the water without an adult who is within arm’s reach or swim in the deep end without a PFD must achieve “special swimmer status.”  Please see a Lifeguard for more details.

Parade: Queer Acts of Love and Resistance presented by the Nova Scotia Office of Equity and Anti‑Racism and Halifax Pride, in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Immigration.

We are excited to present a screening of the National Film Board documentary Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance.

Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance captures pivotal moments that sparked Canada’s 2SLGBTQIA+ movement, honouring the activists and elders whose resistance led to the rights we have today.

Through rarely seen archival footage and first-person accounts, audiences are brought to the frontlines of the struggle. From police raids to early drag shows, community organizing to the House of Commons - the complex history of our country’s diverse communities is brought to life. Key milestones illustrate the power of taking it into the streets and underscore how easily the rights we’ve fought for can be revoked.

This free screening is being presented by the Nova Scotia Office of Equity and Anti‑Racism and Halifax Pride, in collaboration with the Canadian Museum of Immigration.

Come join HEAL Nova Scotia this Pride season for our third Pride Bingo, presented by Atlantic Lottery! On July 21st, 2026, join us at Garrison Brewing from 7 PM to 10 PM for a night you won't forget! We'll once again be joined by host Anna Mona-Pia, as well as powerhouses Mike Hunt and Proshenna Rett for a wonderful night of drag and delight! This fundraiser for the Health Equity Alliance of Nova Scotia will feature prizes for winners, incredible performances, a lively atmosphere & plenty of laughs. Come support local drag and show out for a good cause! ASL will be provided, the venue is accessible and tickets on Showpass are $25 plus fees or $30 at the door -- While they last. This event has been a sell-out its first two years, so don't wait!

We will look at creative pleasure tips with a focus on feeling good in our bodies rather than gender, touching on topics such as communication and consent, (trans) anatomy, and the ways sex can be used as a tool for affirmation. Join us for this discussion-based workshop with room to share experiences and ask questions about navigating the world as a trans person in search of a slutty time. *a note on the word trans: this workshop is open to anyone who identifies anywhere along the trans / gender nonconforming / gender diverse spectrum.

Queer Self Defence

2 Hour Workshops Starting at 7:30PM at North Endurance This is a queer self-defense classes offering a safe, supportive space for participants to learn essential skills tailored to their specific needs and experiences. This class was designed for everyone, providing a broad introduction to self-defense techniques. Emphasizing empowerment, participants will learn practice physical skills and mental strategies to build confidence in navigating potentially dangerous situations. This class is also open to individuals with disabilities ensuring access to self-defense training. Emphasizing adaptability, we will include modifications for various mobility levels at your request and need, ensuring that everyone can learn practical and effective self-defense skills regardless of ability. This class reflects a commitment to queer empowerment, safety, and inclusivity.

Naked Rockband Game Night: Pride Edition

A special Pride Edition of our weekly night of retro games and nudity! Drums, guitars and vocals, come play the classic video game, Rock Band or soak in the hot tub or play some downstairs. Tuesdays are more relaxed than the weekend parties but still plenty of fun! Naked Rockband is the one event that our core group of members always talks about. They invite other members they meet who 'fit the vibe' and have turned this small social hangout night into a weekday party night. The "Naked" in Naked Rockband is 100% optional and people are fine fully clothed although most people wearing clothes go more for underwear, bathing suit or bathrobe. This weekly event is our 'cheap night' at Night Spa where folks get 4 hours of full Night Spa fun for just $15. We normally have 30-40 people out for this each week but expect this number to be a little higher due to it being freaking Pride! Night Spa is Halifax's only mixed gender, private members, clothing optional Spa. There's a hot tub, sauna, showers, and many shared spaces. Space will be limited for these nights. Members and their guests can rent a locker for this evening but we will not be renting out rooms. So come play some games and have a nice relaxing time socializing with other members of the community. 19+ As a private, members only venue, only approved Night Spa members and their guests may attend. This is both for safety and legal purposes. Our vetting process is not a formality and generally takes 2-5 days for us to reply. We take this process seriously so let us know who you are and why you wish to become a member. We can not allow walk-ins or approve same day applications so apply now to attend in the future. The Youth Prom is a chance for Two Spirit, Queer and Trans youth to celebrate themselves and the community in a supportive , inclusive and FABulous space. So whether you want to spend the night dancing along to the DJ’s beats, or taking selfies in the photo booth, come down to celebrate! 

This event is for youth ages 13-18.
